Domestic occupation (coarse rusticated wares) was followed by a kerb circle with central rectangular wooden structure and portal, and a small ring cairn also with rectangular structure. These 'Variant Circles' yielded no finds and no bones, despite the burial-like arrangements. Site I had been carefully prepared before construction began. Charcoals, soils, 14C dates. | ||||
