Abstract:
Damp interiors and very wet walls are a problem for many church towers, particularly those that suffer from wind-driven rain. Analysing and remedying the faults is problematic, so a major 15-year research project aiming to look into the issues and offer guidance has been undertaken by English Heritage. This article outlines some key findings and a small number of case studies. LD
