Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
Research commissioned by English Heritage and undertaken by the London School of Economics has found that people value living in Conservation Areas. Among the results the analysis showed that properties within Conservation Areas had higher prices and greater price appreciation than those elsewhere, and that higher property premiums had a positive correlation with perceptions of how distinctive and attractive residents found an area to be.
