Abstract:
Highlights a recent Equality Impact Assessment undertaken by English Heritage (EH) to identify the key actions needed to ensure that work carried out under the National Heritage Protection Plan takes into account EH's commitment to encourage as wide a diversity of people as possible to care for the historic environment. Actions will include consulting with experts on under-represented heritages, and identifying thematic terms which can be used to make EH's digital records more accessible to researchers interested in the history of various minority groups.
