The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Preliminary note on the recovery from waterlogged deposits of evidence for activity dating from the Late Bronze Age to the post-medieval period. The evidence included a Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age single-entranced sub-circular enclosure, cut by Iron Age and Roman ditches with some evidence for ploughing. Occupation deposits of the late eleventh and early twelfth centuries AD contained numerous wooden structures, including fences, hurdles and fish/eel traps, as well as artefacts.
