Abstract:		 Considers the contribution that lead isotope analysis can make towards an understanding of metal sourcing and circulation in Bronze Age Ireland. The study comprised a pilot programme of analysis, focusing on a regional distribution of early copper metalwork. These objects can be scientifically linked to production at the Beaker copper mine of Ross Island, Co. Kerry.
