Historical account of the chantry college established in the parish church of St Mary Magdalene at Cobham in the late-fourteenth century by Sir John de Cobham, including its foundation and administration up until the Dissolution in the sixteenth century. A description of everyday life in the college is drawn from surviving account rolls and inventories, and suggestions are made as to its original appearance and layout on the basis of the surviving sections of the college and the adjacent medieval ruins.
