Abstract:
TQ 722605. Excavation of the main villa range has now been completed and it is seen that the original structure was a simple strip house about 76m long (twelve rooms with rear corridor). It was only after some time that major alterations (including reorientation) were made to bring the villa to its full size and courtyard design; was there a change in ownership? A cemetery containing an unknown number of inhumations is being examined; signs of haste in the burials suggest abnormal conditions (epidemic?).
