Abstract:
TQ 823530. Selective trenching discovered the plan of the church and its cloister buildings to the south. The Augustinians initially built an aisled cruciform structure in mid 12th century. Early in the 14th century the nave and North transept were rebuilt, and subsequently the presbytery was enlarged and extended. Window tracery is discussed briefly and mouldings are illustrated, together wlth site photographs. L A S B
