Abstract:		 Reports on observations made in 1991and excavations, respectively undertaken in 1992 and 1994, which examined features on the presumed line of the defences if a possible Iron-Age hillfort. Parts of two parallel ditches were recorded. One ditch yielded radiocarbon dates in the MBA and a sherd of LBA pottery; the other ditch was undated. Appendices comprise `Ellacott, Camp Gardens, Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire: radiocarbon dating: summary of the results' (82); `A note on the pottery sherd from ditch 30' by Ann Woodward (83); and `A note on Helen O'Neil's observation at The Surgery, Well Lane, in April 1972' [discussing previously unpublished observations] (83--6).
