Excavations revealed several structures including a 14th century stone and timber building (John Spicer's almshouse?) and a ?private chapel of similar date. The almshouse was demolished and replaced in 15th century, and again in 17th together with the ?chapel. Late 18th century warehouses then occupied the site. Much pottery and metalwork. Au(adp)
