Abstract:
A report on this Deverel--Rimbury cemetery in East Anglia, including both ring ditches and burials in cremation urns in pits. Excavations in 1989--90 included three ring ditches in the north western corner, situated close together and containing central cremation burials. These may represent the transitional stage between the two traditions. The practical excavation of the vessels is described.
