A squarish arrangement of timber uprights, 8m across with corner gaps and graded timbers, enclosed a clay bank and rubble ring with central pit containing only two vertical timbers. An early 2nd millennium date is assigned. Rubble filling included two cupmarked stones and cremations. Plough scratchmarks lay below the timber structure and a concentration of fern spores was noted. A Milfield Basin site is comparable. | ||||||
