The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Work in the vicinity of cropmarks in advance of development (that then did not occur) revealed a circular IA enclosure, rectangular compound, a crescent-shaped ditch, linear boundary and further rectangular enclosure. Prehistoric and RB/Rom pottery, jet and shale objects, iron objects, glass (bead and vessel), tile and brick, and flint are discussed. There are separately authored reports on: Topography and geology' by R G McDonnell (1--3); `Coins' by A Esmond Cleary (34); and `Objects of stone' by I M Ferris & R Ixer (36).
