The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 ST 436721. Excavation of a cairn 7.50m diameter x 0.30 high revealed two successive burials, respectively a flexed inhumation and a scattered cremation, of 14th century and 8th century bc. Without the evidence of radiocarbon an Iron Age date might have been deduced from the EIA sherds scattered through the cairn. Other supposed EIA barrows (Kings Weston Hill, Butcombe, and Wooley Down) are also probably of BA date. Appended are reports on the small finds (including a tanged chisel), human remains and land snails. Au(adp)
