Abstract:		 Reports a survey, undertaken in 1992 at the behest of the local Borough Council, to assess the archaeological remains in the area -- particularly their suitability for public presentation and conservation needs. Previously surveyed in the 1940s, and partly scheduled in 1952, the area covers prehistoric to Roman field boundaries and enclosures. The 1992 survey found further, more complex, earthworks and terracing outside the scheduled area and recommends extending the boundaries to cover these.
