Reports on excavation and survey carried out in an attempt to locate the legendary third palace at Emain Macha. No evidence of this was found, but new discoveries were made, including: an entranceway aligned to the King's Stables at Haughey's Fort; evidence that the cropmark double linear ditches at Creeveroe are contemporary with Haughey's Fort; a large enclosure at Ballydoo with evidence for Early Christian period activity, including glass working.
