Abstract:
Report and catalogue of 2nd to 4th century AD pottery found during excavations to uncover features located by proton magnetometer survey. These features were found to be large rubbish pits, wells and hearths containing a large amount of pottery, ironwork and coins. The pottery, which largely consists of grey and shell-gritted wares, is thought to be of mostly local origin, though some non-local wares were also found. MH
