Abstract:
The Old Bull Inn originated as an early-sixteenth-century hall house with lateral fireplace, oriel and gallery. In c 1700 and upper floor and staircase were added and early windows repositioned. A rear kitchen wing was added in the early-seventeenth century. The Hanbury comprises a sixteenth-century hall and parlour with lateral chimney to which an outer room was added in the early or mid-seventeenth century. Other modifications have included heightening the building and the addition and modification of certain windows.
