Account of a survey undertaken in the grounds of the sixteenth-century stone house which was the home of Henry Salusbury, author of the first formal Welsh grammar, Grammatica Britannica. The survey studies earthworks immediately to the west of the house, and although many natural anomalies were found a rectangular shape indicated possible building remains, and field boundaries were also identified. The report discusses the survey technique, its efficiency and the shortfalls identified through this application. | |
