Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
The report provides a brief account of work carried out during two fieldwork seasons in 2004. The first focused on making detailed geophysical surveys of the hilltop at Banc Du where preliminary work had identified a possible ditched enclosure; work later in the year was directed towards walk-over surveys in the east Preseli region with particular reference to Carn Menyn and the adjacent moorland. Attention was also given to a group of monuments clustered around the springhead at Ffynnon Beswch on the east side of the Carn Siân promontory. Also reported are the preliminary results of ongoing investigations into the post-medieval and modern use of spotted dolerite and related stones quarried on Carn Menyn. | ||
