Account of three rescue excavations carried out at Enagh in 1998. A scatter of Bronze Age pits and post-holes was uncovered at Site 1, a Neolithic house at Site 2 and a possible Neolithic hut at Site 3. Pottery, flint and plant remains were recovered, and the sites were radiocarbon dated to between 1880 and 1450 cal BC (Site 1), between 4230 and 3790 cal BC and between 3770 and 3530 cal BC (Site 2), and between 3950 and 3530 cal BC (Site 3).
