Collected and excavated material shows three possible groupings: fresh Neo in topsoil and partly in situ: 'Larnian' material (rolled and disturbed, typical beach detritus); narrow blade industry mostly under storm shingle. The latter is characterized by careful production of Mount Sandel-like blades from fresh flint either with a punch or with pressure, and production was close by (site now under water?).
