Abstract:
An Early Christian phase with E1 jar, millefiori penannular brooch, etc ended with burning. Occupation layers accumulated on top, with plain souterrain ware, interlace motif pieces, clay bronze-casting moulds. The mound was raised and reoccupied; 30 pits, fine spiral-ringed pin. Total span 7th-10th century; the mound was motte-like well before the Normans.
