The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Brief rescue excavation of three shell middens exposed on a sand cliff revealed: (1), Iron Age occupation with iron slag, a few animal bones, and shells including Arctica islandica; (2), a thin cultural layer with ?med bones and grain; and (3), shellfish and bones. Pollen analysis indicates vegetation fluctuating from open to forested and back to open, from 1st century BC into Early Christian times. In general the sites suggest a new aspect of Iron Age coastal settlement.
