Puts forward the Methodist standpoint in support of the Exemption, arguing that in general its operation has better conservation results than would its absence. Trustees should be allowed to adapt their buildings to serve the needs of new generations, and should not have to use funds to preserve a building which they feel is no longer fulfilling that function (see also 93/24 & 93/612). |
