Abstract:
Brief account of excavations undertaken in Summer 2004 inside the remains of Tanzyfort House, the first house occupied by the Coopers of Coopershill Demesne, Riverstown, County Sligo. Artefacts recovered were mostly of eighteenth-century date, with a few nineteenth-century intrustions, and included a range of pottery, glass, and nails.
