The hoard discovered in 1844 and now in the British Museum is catalogued and discussed: contained in a pottery copy of a cauldron were the head of a Celtic god and of a Minerva, a Lar figurine, a heliotrope or heavenly deity, a wheel, birds, masks from a ritual crown and other bronzes likely to have come from a Romano-Celtic shrine. | ||||||
