Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
A fresh parallel between the two gateways of Dinorben and Moel Hiraddug is noted: the new guard-chamber entrances replaced at each fort an earlier blocked portal alongside. This suggests continuity at each site, the old gateway remaining in use until the new was ready. Pen y Corddyn might prove to be similar. There is therefore a potential but so far undated chronological horizon for this change. | |||||
