TL 392243 etc. Numerous sites were found on the line of bypass construction: a four-room bath house in use AD 70/80 to 120/40; several cemeteries including one with 104 cremations of mid 2nd to early 4th centuries and another with few but well furnished cremations; a small Belgic farmstead; a 2nd century well; and two corners of a large ?public building. Many finds are catalogued: coins, samian, Gallo-Belgic wares mortaria and coarse wares, metalwork, glass, building materials, derived Meso-Neo flints, and environmental material.
