Llanerchaeron mansion, a John Nash villa (designed circa 1792 and now in the custodianship of the National Trust), acquired a billiards room sometime around 1843. The architect of this extension was previously unknown but a one-off payment from Major John Lewis (owner) of £20 to a Mr Coultart is seen as indicating William Ritson Coultart (contemporary and local architect) as its designer. | |
