Abstract:
The paper details research undertaken on the Roman branch road that has been traced from Pennocrucium (Water Eaton) northwest to Mediolanum (Whitchurch), focusing in particular on two areas where evidence for its course seems ambiguous -- the stretch from Camp Farm to Tern Hill, passing through the vicinity of Hinstock, and the northwestern end of the road from Bletchley onwards.
