Pace previous authorities, the round-headed, probably 12th century door in the S chancel wall has been reset, and the chancel itself has a straight joint indicating its extension eastwards at some point (late 12th century?), after which the round-headed door was inserted. A blocked round-headed window and some large side-alternate quoin stones suggest a Saxo-Norman or earlier origin. | ||||||||
