Reports the Central Excavation Unit's excavations at Birdoswald and their popularity with the public. Visitor numbers have risen sharply during the four years of excavation and are not expected to decline once activity finishes. In the light of this, details are given of ways in which the archaeology has, and will be, presented by the CEU, working closely with Cumbria County Council. |
