Summarises the main issues raised at the seminar which considered the future role of finds studies, given the recent proliferation of small-scale field investigations. These issues were considered from four points of view, respectively the client, the contractor, the specialist, and the museum curator. The ensuing discussion highlighted finds specialists' fears that the results of work undertaken as part of the planning process may not be disseminated with the needs of researchers in mind. |
