Abstract:
Brief report on the important jewellery found on the Boss Hall Industrial Estate, Ipswich: a gold and garnet brooch, a number of gold and silver pendants, and a silver toilet set. The finds came from a female grave and date to ?late 7th century. Others among the 22 graves examined included several warrior burials. The find reinforces the evidence for great wealth in E Anglia at this period. CL
