Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was commissioned by British Gas Southern to examine the route of the Brimpton to Aldermaston gas pipeline during its construction in July and August 1993. A desktop study and limited fieldwalking and geophysical surveys were carried out prior to the construction of the pipeline. Medieval and prehistoric pottery were revealed and possible evidence for medieval occupation at Fosters Farm. Includes short notes on
