Abstract:
Excavations took place in 1968, W of Manor Farm. An eroded ?barrow, the earliest feature, may have been used in marking out the 'Celtic' fields. Pits contained SW 'B' pottery, and there was an Iron Age type corn drier. For the RB period a burial dated to c AD 150, and late 3rd century terracing took place for an industrial workshop. Med strip lynchets were imposed on the site. Small finds and some environmental material are reported. F B/Ed
