Abstract:
A brief report on the excavation of a barrow discovered by geophysical survey in 1994. Although barely visible at the surface, the below-ground remains were well preserved. Two phases of cutting were identified in the barrow ditch. A central pit contained no finds, but later phases produced cremations, a burial cist, remains of a bonfire, and cord-impressed pottery.
