Abstract:		 Reports two skulls dated to the later 9th millennium BC and which are interpreted as providing evidence of an early Mesolithic cemetery. The location and association with a significant early Mesolithic flint assemblage is argued to provide evidence for a type of burial site currently unique in the British Mesolithic.
