Abstract:		 Reports investigations into a 10ha IA ridge-top settlement complex with a lesser Roman component. Details include: the topography; surface investigations (with GIS proposed for the dfuture); limited test-pit and trench investigations; fieldwalking densities (which remarkably produced c13,500 artefacts from the 12.5% transect sample -- mostly worked flint and ceramics); finally, results from fifty excavation test stations and environs sampling are recorded.
