Notes on a continuing survey of a selected area of Hallam Moors to the west of the city of Sheffield. The survey included a small, recently discovered stone circle and surrounding moorland on Ash Cabin Flat; and two sets of earthworks near a disused quarry to the north of Redmires Reservoirs, which archival research revealed to be a trench-warfare training area for the Sheffield City Battalion during World War 1. A small cup-marked stone discovered near Redmires Reservoir is described in a postscript. | ||||||
