Abstract:
The church has the remnants of a finely carved Romanesque chancel arch, but there was also an earlier phase. In the medieval period the church was extended to both E and W; in 16th century it became ruined but was briefly re-roofed in 17th before ruin set in again. An Early Christian grave slab and some more Romanesque stonework were recovered along with numerous med and postmed finds. Au(abr)
