Abstract:
An area of beach reclaimed with sand dredged from Rotterdam yielded over 400 pieces, mostly uniserially barbed points, statistical analysis of which revealed two groups by size and five by shape. Three have 14C dates in the range 9950-9700 BP. Any microwear traces have been spoilt by erosion. Several UK comparisons are seen and a revised typology for NW European points is being developed.
