Metallographic examination was directed towards discovering whether two groups of bronzes, respectively in the British Museum and the Yorkshire Museum, could have formed part of the same hoard. Qualitative and quantitative spectrographic analysis suggests their casting from the same crucible. The methods of inlay were, however, very varied. |
