Abstract:
The Airport Catering Site has revealed one of the most significant Late Iron Age sites of the region, with several round houses, a squarish central ?shrine with ?votive pits adiacent to it (further details in 90/457). Duckend Farm also had late Iron Age and RB occupation on two sites, including a cemetery with two rich burials. At Round Wood three med timber structures of 12th-13th century appear to give a sequence, first post-building, then post-in-trench. In general the Project has increased fivefold the original number of known sites.
