Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	Two hearths and a pit associated with charcoal layers in the interior post-dated the inner rampart. One, a bowl-hearth, contained vitrified clay lining material and copper alloy residues, possibly representing brass production from as early as the late 2nd century bc, but perhaps an accident of the smelting process.
