NZ 218284. Brief description of a stone building with medieval features surviving on its E elevation. An upper-chamber hall with barrel-vaulted undercroft and three original openings, it was possibly the building erected for Bishop Bek's secular college of St Andrew at about 1285. An extension to the original probably dates to mid 17th century. |
