Short report on archaeological activities that the Buckinghamshire County Museum has been associated with in 1972, including: rescue excavations at the Romano-British religious complex at Thornborough and on the site of the migrated village of Fulmer; the forging of stronger links with the County Planning Department; dialogue with the Eastern Road Construction Unit regarding archaeological matters; inauguration of a scheme known as the County Antiquities Survey in connection with restructuring records of sites and finds; and the setting up of a weekly group in Aylesbury to assist with the processing of excavated material.
