Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
Account of the survey and excavation of a previously unrecorded enclosure uncovered during building works in 1982. The investigation revealed a ditch enclosing an oval area, within which the only surviving archaeological feature was a partially destroyed souterrain. This, and a small number of sherds of souterrain-ware pottery from the ditch, indicated that the site was occupied during the latter part of the Early Christian period. | ||||
